Wanna be on the show? Project Runway now casting season six!

Now are currently accepting applications.

To be considered for the show, you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
  • You must be at least 21 years of age by September 15, 2008.
  • You must be either:
    1. a legal resident of the U.S. or
    2. able to obtain the necessary visa or waiver to allow you to stay in the U.S. for the filming of the program
  • You must not have had gross sales of more than $100,000/year as a fashion designer.
Our application consists of three (required) parts:
  • A personal video
  • A “virtual portfolio”
  • A completed application questionnaire, available for download HERE.
Detailed instructions regarding each of these requirements are included at the beginning of the application. Please read and follow the instructions carefully.

  • If you are selected as a semi-finalist, you will be asked to travel at your own expense to one of our six semi-final locations, where your design work will be assessed by Tim Gunn and/ or our panel of fashion industry experts. Cities in which we may conduct semi-final interviews include: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Seattle, and San Francisco. Semi-finals will take place between July 21 and August 21, 2008.
